An intranet is a private website used by an organisation, usually aimed at increasing collaboration, communication, and efficiency for employees.
Historically, intranets were private networks (drives, folders, etc), but - like most things - they evolved to be website-based to allow for greater functionality.
Intranet software is perfect for remote workers and have been proven to increase efficiency and reduce employee turnover by providing quick access to information, less digital distraction, and a sense of belonging to a family, rather than just being another worker.
Absolutely! Halo has a number of features to keep your data secure, from SSO (Single-Sign-On) to IP address restriction to military-grade encryption. Your data is also stored on secure servers, held in data centres that have state-of-the-art protection including patrolled premises.
